Halfway Home is the TAFL-approved fanlisting for the relationship between Tendou Akane and Saotome Ranma of Takahashi Rumiko's famous work Ranma Nibun no Ichi (Ranma 1/2). From ill-tempered violence to something undeniably sweet, the relationship between Ranma and Akane transformed beautifully over the course of thirty-eight volumes of manga and dozens and dozens of anime and OVA episodes. Despite some stiff competition, Akane emerged as the One True Fiancee and Ranma proved again and again that he deserved her. They may have gotten off on the wrong foot, but, in the end, seemed to fall in step effortlessly.

This is the second version of Halfway Home. I've been playing around with slightly different styles lately, and this sort of just... emerged from Photoshop CS. I'm considering it somewhat of a temporary layout as I'd like to do something a little more grand once the summer's at a close. Like a mention, the version was designed in PS CS using images from all over the manga. The dominant image is from one of my all-time favorite moments. Ranma has just come back from defeating Herb, complaining that she's just as "uncute as ever" for how she was reacting--and Akane shuts him up with an enormous hug. Pretty cute, if I do say so myself.
